At Mercy Drops Dream Center, internships are more than a learning experience—they’re an invitation to step into meaningful work that impacts real lives in our community.

Our internship program is designed for high school and college students who are eager to grow, serve, and gain hands-on experience in a mission driven environment. Whether you’re exploring your future career or looking to make a difference now, this is a place to learn by doing. 

 

We currently offer four internship tracks:

 

Marketing & Communications (MarCom)

Help tell the story of MDDC through social media, email campaigns, content creation, and branding. This track is perfect for creative thinkers, strong communicators, and those wanting to explore the intersection of storytelling and fundraising.

Development (Fundraising & Partnerships)

Support fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and event planning. This track is ideal for those interested in nonprofit sustainability, relationship-building, and community focused work.

Adopt-A-Block (AAB)

Work directly with our outreach teams, helping coordinate and support weekly community engagement efforts. This track is great for those passionate about hands-on service, learning what service-driven leadership looks like, and experiencing what it looks like to adapt to constantly changing enviornments and needs.

Campus Operations

Assist with the day-to-day functions of our campus, including organization, logistics, and guest experience. This track is a strong fit for detail-oriented and service-minded individuals who love engaging with people while getting stuff done!

Each intern will placed in one focused area, allowing for intentional growth, skill-building, and mentorship throughout the experience.

 

What to expect & program details:

 

Interns at Mercy Drops Dream Center don't just observe—they contribute. We believe that real change happens when real people have real experiences.

Over the course of 12 weeks, you’ll gain real-world experience, collaborate with our team, and play a role in advancing programs that serve families across our community. Here's what you can expect, as well as some qualification guidelines:

— Our internship experience runs for 12 weeks (about 3 months), giving you a meaningful window to learn, grow, and really get involved in the work we do each day.

— This opportunity is open to both high school and college students who are eager to grow, serve, and explore their interests in a practical way.

— Interns typically commit around 10–12 hours per week. We know you’re balancing school, activities, and life, so our aim is to create a schedule that is both manageable and impactful.

— This is an unpaid internship, intentionally designed to focus on hands-on learning, skill-building, and real-world experience, though future employment opportunities may present themselves.
